‘The Walking Dead’ Cast Share Their Wishes For the Show’s 200th Episode

The Walking Dead has already joined the 100 club (episodes, that is) as well as been renewed for a ninth season earlier this season. With season 11 and 12 a huge possibility, Variety asked the cast what their hopes would be for a 200th episode during the season 8 red carpet premiere and their answers may surprise you.
Norman Reedus kept things simple by saying, “I want a dog. I want, like, a little dog. I want, like, a blue heeler dog and I want it to only obey me and hate everyone else but me,” while Chandler Riggs just hopes he’ll still be in one piece. “Hopefully Carl not losing another eye. That would not be fun to film.”
Check out the rest of the cast’s – including Danai Gurira, Steven Ogg, Khary Payton, Josh McDermitt, and Pollyanna McIntosh – responses below:
Danai: “Something that breaks us into a whole new world, you know what I mean? Rebuilding, but still of course that antagonism will still be there, but maybe the beginnings of that.”
Steven: “Maybe a musical, maybe some dancing, some singing. Lighten things up a bit.”
Khary: “Maybe trim [Ezekiel’s] dreadlocks for the summer, for a cool, breezy, summer look.”
Josh: “We need a whole new cast, so I’m sure that I would not be there at that point.”
Pollyanna: “We’re in retirement homes, we think everything is safe, suddenly the scary nurse… is a walker!”
