The Walking Dead: Andrew Lincoln Says Norman Reedus Likes To Do What…!? Ew! That’s Gross!
The Walking Dead has been on the air for many, many years now. Once upon a time the show was a ratings juggernaut and had over 17 million viewers. Andrew Lincoln was its star, and though he’s since left, he’s still telling awesome stories. Andrew Lincoln says Norman Reedus likes to do… uh… something. Something weird, if you ask us.
Okay, so this story is a little old so maybe you’ve heard it, that doesn’t make it any less weird. Or hilarious. This all actually comes out of a Youtube interview from the year 2014.
Norman Reedus is the subject of discussion, and the guy sounds like a hoot. He’s been playing Daryl Dixon since season 1, and is currently still on the show! That’s right, Daryl Dixon outlived the series protagonist Rick Grimes!
He sounds like an absolute delight to work with, at least, if you can put up with his shenanigans. It sounds like he really just wants to go out of his way to make people laugh, which is quite admirable.
Andrew Lincoln discussed his, at the time, costar and all of his strange quirks. Not just quirks but also how he tries to get under people’s skin! In the interview Lincoln discusses some of Reedus’ red carpet quirks, claiming “You go to the red carpet with Norman, and that’s it,” Lincoln explained. “You’ve got the bird or the lick. I think it begins with the bird, and then if you grow in confidence, or if you really offend him, he will lick you. He’s a licker, not a fighter.”
That wasn’t the only thing Lincoln mentioned though. He also talked about what would happen if you wear white around the Daryl actor. It sounds… kinda gross-out of context, but we’re sure it’s all in good humor!
“He likes to wipe his dirt on people, as well, among other things. At the end of the day, if you’re wearing white, never wear white around Norman Reedus. It’s like the Turin shroud. He wipes his face on people’s vests,” Lincoln said.
Even with these quirks, no one has anything bad to say about Reedus, meaning they must love his antics! We can only imagine how funny things get on set, and we wish we could see what goes on!
If Andrew Lincoln says Norman Reedus does all this stuff, we believe him! At least it all sounds like good fun!
The Walking Dead is returning this August on AMC for its eleventh, and final, season!

A fan from the beginning, but really getting Old waiting 4the promises of Ricks movie’s ! Realize how many people stopped watching when Rick left, the series would have ended sooner, surly without the promises of RICKS MOVIE’S! Now it seems not as many interested anymore ! Sad the other series are half as good as twd. Beyond is a child’s series just so disappointing. Hope twd survives somehow?
