Jeffrey Dean Morgan was quickly a fan-favorite when he arrived on The Walking Dead. Not only do fans love his portrayal of Negan, but Morgan already had a huge fan-base from his long filmography. Morgan played John Eric Winchester on the CW series. John is the father of Sam and Dean Winchester, the show’s brothers and main characters. Seeking revenge after his wife Mary was killed by the demon Azazel, John Winchester became a hunter and raised his two sons to fight the supernatural.
John disappears early in Supernatural, and the first season revolves primarily around Sam and Dean trying to find him.

She resumes her career as a defense attorney, shedding her persona as the embarrassed wife of a politician, and takes charge of her destiny. Morgan plays Florrick’s love interest, Jason Crouse.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan played Denny Duquette, Jr. in seasons two, three, and five of Grey’s Anatomy. The series focuses on a group of young doctors at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, who began their careers at the facility as interns. One of the young doctors and the show’s namesake, Meredith Grey, is the daughter of a famous surgeon. Grey struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, particularly the hospital’s one-time chief of surgery, Richard Webber, due to a pre-existing relationship between them – Webber and Meredith’s mother had a personal relationship when Meredith was young.
Morgan dropped 40 pounds to play the role of Deaf Smith on Texas Rising. This historical drama explores the fight for an independent Texas that occurred following the conclusion of the Battle of the Alamo. Gen Sam Houston leads a ragtag group of Texas Rangers into battle against Mexican Gen Santa Anna. Houston and the Rangers fight seemingly insurmountable odds to overtake the opponent and gain independence. The series comes from the same team behind Emmy Award-winning miniseries `Hatfields & McCoys’ and, like that program, features Emmy nominee Bill Paxton, who plays Houston, in a prominent role.
Morgan plays the character, The Comedian. Watchmen takes place in an alternate 1985 America, costumed superheroes are part of everyday life. When one of his former comrades is murdered, masked vigilante Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley) uncovers a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his retired associates, only one of which has true powers, Rorschach glimpses a far-reaching conspiracy involving their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the world’s future.
Morgan starred as as Wally – CIA Technician, Weapons Officer. JAG follows Harmon “Harm” Rabb Jr. as a former pilot turned lawyer working for the military’s JAG ( Judge Advocate General) division, the elite legal wing of officers that prosecutes and defends those accused of military-related crimes. He works closely with Lt. Col. Saraj Mackenzie, and together they do what needs to be done to find the truth. After an initial season on NBC, which canceled the show, “JAG” moved to CBS, where it saw success for another nine seasons.
