The One Detail You Probably Missed in Last Week’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Episode

It’s safe to say that any Game of Thrones fan will instantly recognize this evil sausage lover, Ramsay Bolton, who took over and ruled Winterfell back in season 6.

And after having to watch him be completely awful to everyone, he finally got what was coming to him from Jon Snow and Sansa Stark. She literally fed him to his own dogs and you know you loved it.

However, even though the Stark’s are finally back home, small reminders of Ramsay’s reign still linger around the Winterfell grounds. Redditor user Lardt caught a small detail in this past Sunday’s episode that will make you feel things.

This is what the Direwolf statues outside of the Winterfell crypt looked like in season 1:

And this is what they looked like in Season 7 “Stormborn” episode.

Ramsay and his men actually beheaded the wolf statues, which is a literal punch to gut since that is what happened to Ned, our original Stark “wolf.” It is also reminiscent of Grey Wind’s head being put on Robb Stark’s body after the heartbreaking Red Wedding.

Did you catch this detail? Also, can we please just forget that Ramsay Bolton ever happened?
