‘The O.C.’ Costars Rachel Bilson and Chris Carmack Reunite on ‘Nashville’ Set

Last week, it was announced that two new faces, Rachel Bilson and Kaitlin Doubleday, would be joining the cast of CMT’s Nashville.
After this season’s shocking death of Rayna Jaymes the new casting news was definitely a sign of hope and happiness ahead for fans! Not only did Nashies celebrate and welcome the two new members of the Music City family but, fans of the show The O.C. also had a reason to celebrate.
The addition of Rachel Bilson to the Nashville cast meant there was a possibility for a mini The O.C. reunion. Current Nashville cast member Chris Carmack starred along side Bilson on the Fox hit series and fans immediately began to beg for shared screen time.
While we still do not know anything regarding Bilson’s character and how she will fit into the series, she and Carmack gave fans exactly what they were asking for; A reunion.
Bilson took to Instagram and posted the below photo captioned, “welcome to Nashville B****……this is how it’s done in Tennessee. #propergreeting.” The caption, of course, paraphrasing Carmack’s epic line from the first episode of The O.C.
