At San Diego Comic-Con, new shows that debuted extra footage during the event include the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon.

During the show’s panel at the event, an extended trailer for House of the Dragon was shown, and now those who weren’t there can see it for themselves as it has been uploaded to the Game of Thrones official YouTube channel.

This new 3-minute trailer, which was released today, includes the footage we saw last week in the previous preview for the program, as well as additional never-before-seen material, such as what everyone has been waiting for: more dragons.

The new footage offers further information about the plot of the show, with a new battle for the iron throne emerging and some different views of characters in the series. Many other franchises have kept their footage to themselves, which seems to indicate that Game of Thrones fans are among the luckiest this year’s Comic-Con celebrations.

Fans who were hoping for a brand-new trailer might be disappointed, but it should still enough to keep them satisfied until the series returns in less than a month.

The wait may be over soon. House of the Dragon will premiere on HBO on August 21, airing weekly each Sunday to follow. In the meantime, you can watch Game of Thrones on HBO Max now.
