The New ‘Captain Marvel’ Super Bowl TV Spot Goes “Higher. Further. Faster.”
Captain Marvel takes flight in theaters next month, and Marvel Studios released a brand new TV spot during the biggest event of the year, the Super Bowl.
In the new spot, we see Carol Danvers (played by Brie Larson) light up the screen as she transforms into Captain Marvel and strives to go, “Higher. Further. Faster.” The 30-second teaser packs a punch of action with Larson’s closing out the clip taunting, “try to keep up.”

Captain Marvel is set in the 1990s and follows Air Force pilot Danvers (Larson). When Danvers’ DNA becomes mixed with that of an alien, she becomes one of the most powerful superheroes ever, Captain Marvel.
In addition to Larson, the film stars Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Lee Pace, Gemma Chan, and Djimon Hounsou. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck directed the film which was written by Boden and Fleck as well as Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Liz Flahive, and Carly Mensch.
