With many anticipating a December 2022 premiere for The Mandalorian season three, the most anticipated Star Wars season is without a doubt this one. Pedro Pascal suggested a potential replacement for Gina Carano’s character: “I think it’d be great.”

The Mandalorian sealed itself as one of the series with the most stability in Star Wars history, with its first season in 2019, resulting in Grogu (AKA “Baby Yoda”) and Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) stealing the spotlight in The Book of Boba Fett.

Nevertheless, Pedro Pascal wants a legendary figure to join the Star Wars universe before it’s too late.

Following the tumultuous dismissal of actress Gina Carano as Marshal Cara Dune from season three of The Mandalorian, another actress has yet to take her place.

Pedro Pascal has the perfect actor in mind:

“I think [Nicolas Cage] would be a great Mandalorian. I think that he’s so physical, that he cuts such a great silhouette, he would figure out very artistic ways to execute the role.”

In a recent interview with IMDb, Pascal name drops Nicolas Cage as an actor he’d love to see in The Mandalorian, stating that Cage is “he would figure out very artistic ways to execute the role.”

Pedro Pascal stars as Nicolas Cage in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, which will debut on April 22, 2022 (2022, which debuts on April 22, 2022).

Nicolas Cage has starred in nearly every film ever made, including the National Treasure films and Marvel’s Ghost Rider (2007), a rumored cameo appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).

Pedro Pascal has said that he’d prefer for Nicolas Cage to take his Mandalorian role, which implies he could appear on The Mandalorian in some capacity.

Given that Danny Trejo recently appeared in The Book of Boba Fett, it’s clear that A-listers can appear in Star Wars at any time.

Even if Nicolas Cage appeared in a small role, the galaxy far, far away would be ideal for this larger-than-life actor.
