Fans have been waiting for what feels like forever for news on Lucifer’s newest season. They’re desperate for a trailer since obviously, they can’t have the actual episodes yet. Those aren’t coming until late May 2021. A season 5B trailer has remained elusive thus far, though we’ve certainly gotten teases from the people working on the show. What’s making the wait so much more unbearable is that the next batch of episodes will end the whole thing! Season 5B will be the final Lucifer episodes ever since I doubt we’ll get a third miracle. Based on the first half of season 5 though, it’s looking like we can expect one hell of a finale. One of the showrunners, Joe Henderson, recently spoke with Word Balloon about the trailer since he couldn’t talk about the episodes. He says the Lucifer 5B trailer is going to be amazing!
“You guys are gonna shit yourself when you see that trailer. It is awesome. I mean, the season itself is awesome, but when you guys see the trailer — I will warn everyone that the trailer does have some spoilers that you might not want to see — but it won’t ruin the experience, it will only add to it in my opinion… But it’s got a lot. I was just watching it and I was like, ‘Did we do all that in eight episodes? Wow!'” Henderson said in regards to the trailer.
We’ve learned from previous interviews that the second half of the season picks up seconds where it left off. God himself will be playing a role in this back half of Lucifer’s final season, promising an epic final season. Will Lucifer finally make up with his father? I don’t know, but I can’t wait to find out!
