The ‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Theme Song Features Skrillex and Hikaru Utada

The release of Kingdom Heart 3 is getting closer by the second and Square Enix has given fans a glimpse at the opening theme song by Skrillex and Hikaru Utada.

Skrillex has been a fan of Square Enix publicly for some time now. He has even produced remixes of Hikaru Utada’s previous works ‘Don’t Think Twice’. The two fiercely talented musicians have once again creatively teamed up to give us the theme song for Kingdom Hearts 3, ‘Face My Fears.”

The developers of the game describe it as a game that tells the story of the power of friendship and light vs. darkness as Sora and his friends take on an exciting adventure.

Here’s the official game synopsis:

“Kingdom Hearts III tells the story of the power of friendship and light vs. darkness as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure. Set in a vast array of Disney and Pixar worlds, Kingdom Hearts follows the journey of Sora, an unknowing heir to a spectacular power. Sora is joined by Donald Duck and Goofy to stop an evil force known as the Heartless from invading and overtaking the universe. Sora, Donald, and Goofy unite with iconic Disney-Pixar characters old and new to overcome tremendous challenges and persevere against the darkness threatening their worlds.”

According to the developers, Poo Bear, producer of the well-known Justin Bieber song, “What do you Mean?, collaborated on “Face My Fears”.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will make its debut for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on January 29, 2019.
