The Walking Dead alum Michael Cudlitz’s new sitcom The Kids Are Alright is definitely doing more than alright on ABC! The series, which premiered back in October, has just received a full season order at the network.

The Kids Are Alright is an ensemble comedy set in the 1970’s. The series follows a traditional Irish-Catholic family, the Clearys, as they navigate big and small changes during one of America’s most turbulent decade.

The series is inspired by the childhood of writer/executive producer Tim Doyle, who also narrates in voiceover as older Timmy. In addition to Cudlitz, The Kids Are Alright stars Mary McCormack, Sam Straley, Caleb Martin Foote, Sawyer Barth, Christopher Paul Richards, Jack Gore, Andy Walken, and Santino Barnard.

Also receiving a full season order at ABC is the network’s romantic comedy Splitting Up Together which stars The Office‘s Jenna Fischer and Oliver Hudson. The series, which is in its second season at the network, follows Fisher and Hudson who play a divorced couple living in the same house trying to continue to raise their family as a team.

In addition to Fischer and Hudson, the series also stars Bobby Lee, Diane Farr, Lindsay Price, Olivia Keville, Van Crosby, and Sander Thomas. Emily Kapnek (Suburgatory) created the series and also serves as executive producer with Ellen DeGeneres, Dean Holland (Parks and Recreation) and Jeff Kleeman (Little Big Shots).
