The Interview That Goes Horribly Wrong with Jimmy Fallon and J.J. Abrams

Don’t worry guys, at first-sight I thought the same thing but it is not what we think. Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Trek director J. J. Abrams stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new Broadway play The Play That Goes Wrong.

Originally, a British slapstick play that he saw in London, Abrams decided to make it his Broadway debut. He goes on to tell Fallon that “It is so Monty Python meets Buster Keaton and it’s so silly…” Jimmy then introduces the writers out on stage but before they come out Abrams informs him and the audience that they are a bit nervous being that it is their first time on such a “big American talk show.” Out walks British playwrights Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields and what happens next is truly delightful chaos! From torn curtains and knocking Abrams over to electrical shorts and broken glass. It is utterly hilarious! Watch below.

Pure and simple Murphy’s Law, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong but I am sure with Abrams behind it, the success of this play will go in the RIGHT direction.

You can catch The Play That Goes Wrong on Broadway showing at the Lyceum Theater. For tickets and show dates/times, visit the Lyceum Theater website.
