The Flash Preview ‘What’s Past is Prologue’
In The Flash‘s 100th episode, Barry and Nora travel to the past so they can defeat Cicada in the future. The idea is Sherloque’s and Barry warns that there are bad things in the past. Then we see shots of Savitar and Zoom, finally landing on the original Harrison Wells, aka Eobard Thawne. Barry and Nora go to Harrison for advice on how to defeat Cicada, but the trailer concludes with Barry saying that they shouldn’t have come back. They made a mistake. By going back, the are messing with the current timeline even more. So is the second half of the season going to be cleaning up for Nora’s presence in the present? Things are changing the longer she sticks around.
It’s going to be an exciting, nostalgic episode and I can’t wait to see what is up their sleeve for the show’s 100th. The 100th episode of Arrow was by far one of my favorites of that entire series, and I think The Flash won’t disappoint. It’s always great to have Tom Cavanagh as the original Harrison Wells, and Teddy Sears being back as Hunter Zolomon will be a lot of fun. They are by far the two best villains that have been on The Flash, so that’s exciting. Maybe there will be a four-way run-off between Barry, Nora, Harrison, and Hunter. That was be so totally awesome. All of this is leading up to the crossover event next week, so there’s the potential that Barry’s actions in this episode will spark Elseworlds.
The Flash airs Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET on The CW.
