The Flash Preview ‘The Runaway Dinosaur’
Well, this looks interesting.
Last week, Team Flash recreated the particle accelerator explosion, but Barry was seemingly killed in the process. Instead, he was pulled by the Speed Force into some other time. The promo shows Harry and Cisco tapping into the vibe powers to try and locate Barry. Unfortunately, Barry’s current plane of existence doesn’t want to let him go. We see a form of Joe who apparently isn’t really Joe. There is also an Iris, who is giving off a very steely vibe. It will be interesting to see where exactly Barry ended up and these alternate versions of the Wests.
Returning this week is the metahuman Girder, who was last seen in the early episodes of season one. He was after Iris and it was because of him that Barry discovered the super Flash punch. I wonder what the team is going to do to stop him considering they are really short handed. Maybe Cisco will get to unlock more powers? Or perhaps they’ll get Barry back in time to put a stop to Girder.
There is a lack of Zoom in the promo, but perhaps he is the reason Girder is back. Now that Barry is out of the picture, Zoom is free to do whatever he wants. His endgame is to take over all of Earth-1 (and then the rest of the multiverse), and he will more than likely recruit all the metahumans he can in order to make that a reality.
Fun fact, Kevin Smith directed this episode.
