The Flash: Here’s What Carlos Valdes Will Miss The Most! We’ll Miss You Too Cisco!

The Flash said goodbye to a very special character on Tuesday. After seven years on the show, Carlos Valdes said goodbye to the cast, crew, and to his own character Cisco Ramone. We know what Carlos Valdes will miss the most about being on The Flash.

The rest of this article will contain spoilers for The Flash. This is your spoiler warning if you haven’t seen the latest episode of The Flash.

Thankfully for viewers, Cisco didn’t die. Instead, he simply left Central City, to get out there and pursue his own thing. It’s definitely a relief as if he’d died it certainly would have been a more… final departure.

Thankfully, anything can happen now. The showrunner Eric Wallace promises that the door is open for return appearances. Even though Cisco is gone for now he doesn’t need to be gone forever. With his character alive he could show up for cameo appearances and more.

Now that his time on the show is over though, as a series regular anyway, he’s been answering some questions. Just recently he spoke to ComicBook.com, which is where he revealed what he will miss the most on The Flash.

“This answer is multilayered. I will miss my wonderful, beautiful, terribly flawed family, work family. I will miss my amazing, hardworking, just… Everybody that works on this show is just a beautiful person. I’ve gotten years to really kind of get to know a lot of them, and they’re just beautiful people, and I’m going to miss the cast, and I’m going to miss the crew. I’m going to miss a paycheck.”

Valdes’ response didn’t end there. He also gave a huge shoutout to the people who work on The Flash, specifically Greg Berlanti. He’s proud of the environment in which they work. This was also while speaking with ComicBook.com

“I’m not even going to lie, I’m going to miss working for Greg Berlanti because he… Kind of like ethos that he’s committed to in terms of the kind of content that he’s creating, it really does make me feel like I’m valued as a storyteller because he understands storytelling, and he understands what storytellers need to tell the best stories that they can. So I’m going to miss that,”

That’s not all he’ll miss though, no, he mentioned one more thing. He mentioned us! The fans of The Flash, and the fandom surrounding the show. Makes sense, we’re pretty awesome. Again, from ComicBook.com

“You know, Cisco and me, I wouldn’t be anywhere without help, so I’m grateful to fans for watching and giving like… And you know, that’s the other part that I’m going to miss. I’m going to miss this fandom. There are parts of it that are actually really beautiful, and touching in a good way, so I’m going to miss that.”

There you have it. Now you know what Carlos Valdes will miss the most about being on The Flash.

The Flash airs Tuesdays on The CW.
