The First Teaser for ‘The Punisher’ is here just in time for SDCC

Netflix is bringing The Punisher to your television screens this fall and today, the first teaser was released on an official Twitter account for the soon-to-be series and while it is short…like, not even 10 seconds worth of a teaser, we are excited for what it means.
First, it’s obviously one of the happiest times of the year as SDCC takes over the pop culture realm and we’re expecting some big news in terms of The Punisher to debut this weekend.

We’re also incredibly excited that Jon Bernthal’s Punisher is getting his own series. His portrayal of the vigilante is burned into the minds of anyone who watched Daredevil‘s second season. He was ruthless in his pursuit of vengeance and the pain in his every move was evident.
The premise for The Punisher is simple, after the murder of his family, Frank sets out to fight crime no matter what it takes.
‘Frank Castle is haunted and hunted after the murder of his family and becomes a vigilante known in the criminal underworld as “the Punisher”, who aims to fight crime by any means necessary.‘
We expect to get more information over the course of the next few days and we’ll keep you updated as it comes in, but for now, the logo and small teaser are enough to leave us all so thrilled.
