Your favorite Disney Channel villain kids are back and looking fiercer than ever in the first exclusive look at Descendants 3! The Disney Channel official Twitter account shared the sneak peek as part of their #D3deets series, which shows Cameron Boyce as Carlos (son of Cruella de Vil), Sofia Carson as Evie (daughter of the Evil Queen), Dove Cameron as Mal (daughter of Maleficent) and Booboo Stewart as Jay (son of Jafar) all rocking some new and improved outfits.

Here’s a closer look at the villainous heroes:
The Descendants are looking better and more cohesive than ever. They are each rocking their signature colors, with Evie rocking a lot more red than she has tended to in the past. While in the earlier movies their outfits have tended to have a lot more bells and whistles (and zippers) it looks like they’re going for a simpler look in their final film of the franchise. Just for a fun trip down memory lane, here’s what the kids looked like in the first movie in 2015. Talk about a glow up!
While a specific plot hasn’t been released yet, the first teaser hinted that Descendants 3 will find Mal and Co. dealing with the reappearance of her father who many have theorized to be Hades (Cheyenne Jackson). In addition to that, the quartet will also have Uma, Harry Hook and the other villainous kids on the Isle of the Lost to deal with.
Descendants 3 will once again be directed and choreographed by High School Musical’s Kenny Ortega and is sure to be another ratings smash for Disney Channel. The first film ended up being a huge success, becoming the fifth most watched original movie in cable history.
Descendants 3 will hit theaters Summer 2019!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
