‘The Dating Guy’ on Hulu is NOT Your Kids Cartoon

So if you have not read anything I have written I must forewarn you, I am what you could call eccentric if I was rich but I am not so crazy will have to do. I mean if the FBI ever watched my TV viewing lineup I would probably be on some “watch” list. I have bizarre taste in TV binge-watching that causes my family to sleep uneasy. I truly enjoy shows such as ‘The First 48‘, ‘Forensic Factor‘ and ‘Snapped‘. I find these shows informative and interesting. However, I also enjoy binge watching cartoons that are not suitable for children. My love of more adult-themed cartoons began with ‘The Simpsons‘, ‘Family Guy‘ and ‘American Dad‘. Then along came FX with ‘Archer‘ and then Netflix and Hulu started streaming some animated series made just for them or the ones that can not be shown on television. I did a write-up Netflix’s original ‘Big Mouth‘ a couple of months back and have been looking for new shows to feed my twisted inner child.

'The Dating Guy' on Hulu is NOT Your Kids CartoonWell, this week I found a new one on Hulu. ‘The Dating Guy’ season 1 and 2 can be watched on Hulu for your binge-watching pleasure. ‘The Dating Guy’ is a Canadian animated series about a group of friends who are focused on dating, drinking and well other adult topics. We meet Mark (Fab Filippo) a 25-year-old who works for an ad agency. We also meet his roommates Woody (Sean Francis) who is a ladies man and VJ (Anand Rajaram) who seems to be destined to never lose his virginity. Of course, we need some female power thrown into this mix of guys so Sam (Lauren Ash) is their hot neighbor.

The group of friends has 26 episodes of mostly adult topic misadventures from dating, drugs, serial killers and leprechauns. Again, this show is NOT for children so if your child is looking for cartoons on Saturday morning and I highly suggest you take away the remote but Saturday night grab a glass of wine turn it on and laugh after they have safely gone to bad. That is my PSA for the day dear readers. So, if you are into twisted adult themed animations such as ‘Family Guy‘, ‘American Dad‘ and ‘Archer‘ then I hope you check it out. If you are not then I am glad I caught you before you went down that twisted rabbit hole.
