The cast members of Beauty and the Beast are absolutely the talk of entertainment. The live-action remake has been highly anticipated and since it’s release, less than 24 hours ago, fans worldwide have been captivated by the film. It’s a dream come true for fans who have hailed the film as one of Disney’s best.
Beauty and the Beast was a film that gave the little girls who loved to read, the ones who desired more, a fairytale of their own. In many ways, it’s inspired young people to be dreamers, and as all good fairytales do, to fight for what’s right and to follow their hearts. There’s something truly magical about a fairytale, but there’s something extra special about Beauty and the Beast.
The cast of the live-action remake sat down with Nerdist and spoke of their earliest/favorite Disney memories. From Dumbo to Fantasia, they all had great picks and personal stories to go alongside them. Josh Gad spoke about how he remembered Jiminy Cricket singing about ‘living to be 103’ and how he’s shown that song to his own children while Gugu Mbatha-Raw spoke on Belle being ‘bookish and not quite fitting in, in her small town’.
When it comes to Disney, there’s always one memory that means the most to us all. It’s quite interesting to see what others have as their ‘go-to Disney moment’. Beauty and the Beast is out in theaters now and you won’t want to miss it.
