Sheldon and Amy have decided to take a retrospective look at Fun with Flags. How did the show begin?
Leonard doesn’t remember. Penny does
“Find someone who cares” Penny says.
So he did. And thus Fun With Flags was born.
They open it up to the audience and Bert calls. He has a girlfriend now. Her name is Rebecca.
Howard, Bernadette and Stuart are taking Halley to the zoo. Bernadette is worrying about the daycare, Stuart and Howard reassure her that everything will be fine.
Bernadette begins freaking out again over leaving Halley. She thinks she’s a being a bad mom. Howard tells her that she doesn’t have to go back if she’s not ready.
Leonard invited Bert and Rebecca to dinner. Raj is sad because Bert has a girl and he doesn’t. Sheldon keeps getting a time-out due to saying mean things.
They met on a dating website and she used to be engaged to a Scientologist. (So she’s not “new” to dating a “scientist”). Bert wasn’t getting any bites until he updated his profile to being a weathly McCarthy Award winner and along came Rebecca… Amy lifts Sheldon’s time-out.
It’s Bernadette’s first day of work and Halley’s first day off daycare. They start crying. Howard doesn’t want to let Halley go to daycare by herself. So he and Stuart take her to the aquarium. They daycare called Bernadette the minute Halley was busted out.
Bert breaks up with Rebecca after Amy suggests that she might just be with him for his money. He misses her. Raj offers advice but he realizes that he’s miserable and shouldn’t be talking.
The gang discuss why they are attracted to their partners. Penny says it’s because of Leonard’s begging and height and Sheldon says it’s because of Amy’s blood type and mind.
“He can harvest my organs…” Amy says
Howard and Bernadette finally let Halley go to daycare and due to the success of the retrospective episode, Amy and Sheldon decide to have another retrospective look at Fun With Flags.
