Bernadette is in labor! What’ll it be? A boy? A girl? Let’s find out!
It’s also Amy’s birthday, you know what that means- it’s been an entire year since they had coitus! So as for the new tradition, they try to get it on. They are soon interrupted by a call that Bernadette is having her baby.
Bernadette got to the hospital too early and was told to come back when her contractions were 5 minutes apart. Raj begins video recording the action for the baby and let’s it slip that Howard and Bernadette are having a girl!
So they kick him out.
To get back in the mood, Amy dresses up in Harry Potter robes. Oooh la la.
“I thought I’d let Harry Potter make things hotter”- Amy
It works until Sheldon realizes that she went to the Wizarding World without her… He forgives her and Bernadette’s water breaks.
In the hospital room, Howard and Bernadette decide on what to name their soon to be baby girl. Bernadette suggests naming her after Howard’s mom. They begin remembering her.
In the waiting room, the rest of the gang begin thinking about how Howard is having a kid and reminisce about how far they’ve come. Raj freaks out a little bit because he feels he hasn’t made any personal growth.
They name her Halley after the comet and Raj is her godfather. How freaking cute is that!
The gang goes to the viewing room to see Halley and at first they can’t pick her out… Then a very familiar “Mrs. Wolowitz-esque” cry comes from one of the beds.
“That one.”- Raj
This was a beautiful episode. That is really all I have to say about it. It was funny and charming and reflective which as sad as I am to say it, means we are getting to the end. I literally have nothing except good things to say about this episode.
Let’s hope the second half of this season is just as good 🙂 See you all soon!
