The Batman: Robert Pattinson’s Batman Might Have A No Killing Rule! Finally A Batman Who Gets It!

For a while now it’s felt like the newest live-action Batman, while being awesome, just had a few kinks. One of Batman’s biggest rules revolves around not killing. It’s what makes him better than the criminals he hunts. Ben Affleck‘s Batman… was not like that. Robert Pattinson‘s Batman might have a no-killing rule, though!

We don’t know very much about the new Batman film yet, but that isn’t stopping fans from getting hyped. Pattinson’s certainly got the suit and voice down, but now he might have Batman’s biggest rule nailed too!

Don’t get us wrong, we love Ben Affleck! We think he’s an awesome Batman, but him killing people never did really sit right with us. If Pattinson’s Batman doesn’t kill he’ll be more accurate than Affleck, at least.

Now, before you all get too excited, please try to remember that this is just a rumor for now. And it comes from Reddit, too. The Reddit user in question though, SpideyForever245, has accurately leaked things before. So there’s a chance, anyway!

He actually has been right about superhero leaks in the past, including  Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ cameo in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. We’re hoping he’s right about this, too.

He claims that the film will heavily emphasize  “a big deal out of Batman’s no-kill rule.” and that Bruce will be depicted as  “explaining why he doesn’t and should never kill.”.

The redditor goes on to claim that this version of Batman is no goody-two-shoes, though. He says “morality is a little bit off. He’s not the golden boy… There is a simplicity to his worldview, but where it sits is strange.”

All-in-all it sounds like this could be a pretty awesome take on The Dark Knight! Regardless of killing or no killing, we can’t wait to see The Batman when it finally hits theatres!

Do you hope The Batman puts in the no killing rule? Let us know in the comments!
