‘The Alienist’s Q’orianka Kilcher Joins Paramount’s Live-Action ‘Dora the Explorer’ Movie

The Alienist star Q’orianka Kilcher joins the already impressive cast of Paramount Pictures’ live-action film version of Dora the Explorer. She will be playing the role of Inca Princess Kawillaka, whom Dora meets on her adventures.
She joins a cast which stars Isabela Moner (as Dora), Eugenio Derbez, Micke Moreno, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, Adriana Barraza, and Temuera Morrison. Earlier this year, it was also announced that Eva Longoria and Michael Peña had joined the cast to play Dora’s mother and father.
Kilcher was most recently seen in her role as the mysterious Mary in TNT’s hit suspense limited series The Alienist. She also starred opposite Colin Farrell in the 2005 film A Brave New World.

The synopsis for the upcoming live-action Dora the Explorer film reads as follows:
The film is directed by James Bobin and is already in production in Austrailia. Dora is expected to explore her way to theaters on August 2, 2019.
