‘The Alienist’ Episode Preview – ‘Silver Smile’

In last week’s episode of The Alienist, Dr. Laszlo Kreizler officially brought together his investigative team for the first time. The Isaacson brothers, Sarah Howard and John Moore will all play crucial roles in stopping New York City’s most gruesome serial killer.
What started out as an innocent team dinner, however, led to John Moore finding himself in a rather compromising position at the brothel. In Monday night’s new episode titled Silver Smile, we’ll get to find out just what happened to Moore that night. Additionally, critical evidence which could blow their case wide open has gone missing!

“Innovative evidence leads the team to discover a crucial element in the case has gone missing. Kreizler (Daniel Brühl) and Moore (Luke Evans) interview a witness to find out what happened to Moore at the Brothel. Sara (Dakota Fanning) attempts to live in a world outside the investigation. Kreizler challenges them to look within themselves.”
About The Alienist: “The Alienist is an upcoming American drama television series based on the novel of the same name by Caleb Carr. The psychological thriller drama is set in 1896 when a series of gruesome murders of boy prostitutes has gripped the city. Newly appointed top cop Teddy Roosevelt calls upon Dr. Laszlo Kreizler, a criminal psychologist — aka alienist — and newspaper illustrator John Moore to conduct the investigation in secret. Joining them in the probe is Sara Howard, a headstrong secretary at Police Headquarters.”
