Ashton Kutcher will make a guest appearance in the upcoming Netflix sequel That ’70s Show, and he’s expressed nothing but enthusiasm for his return. The comedy continues the sitcom that Ashton Kutcher previously starred on as Michael Kelso on That ’70s Show. His debut performance in the part proved to be a turning point in his career.
In a conversation with Variety, Kutcher stated that he and his wife Mila Kunis, who played Jackie Burkhart in the original series, were thrilled to appear in the spinoff because it has opened doors for them in their film and television professions.
“Mila and I were contemplating it. We thought, ‘Listen, we’re only in the position that we’re in because of that show, so let’s just go back and do this. We just went back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun.”
Both previous cast members are among the many new cast members who will appear in Season 6, with Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, and Wilmer Valderamma reprising their roles as Eric Forman, Donna Pinciotti, and the flirtatious foreign exchange student Fez, respectively.
Donna and Eric’s daughter Leia (played by Callie Haverda) will spend the summer of 1995 making new friends and living with her grandparents Kitty and Red, played by original cast members Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith, in this spin-off.
