Take an Up-Close Look at the Pokémon in ‘Detective Pikachu’
Whether you love or hate new trailer for Detective Pikachu, it’s clear that the highlight of the film will be the adorable CGI Pikachu, voiced by Ryan Reynolds.
He is perfectly fuzzy, yellow and precious. IGN editor, Joshua Yehl got to visit the sculptures being use in the film, and if you take a look at the pictures he took, you can see just how detailed the models are.
Snubbull is especially cute with his smug little chin and pink fluff.

In another tweet, he shows Pikachu himself, who looks pretty good in real form. Also pictures is feathery Psyduck, a creepily realistic Charizard head, and a frog-like Greninja head.
