‘Superman’ Actress Margot Kidder Dies at 69
Margot Kidder, known for playing Lois Lane in the 1978 version of Superman, has died.
According to CNN, her manager confirmed that she died peacefully in her sleep Sunday night.
The Franzen-Davis Funeral Home released the following in her obituary:
Margaret Ruth “Margot” Kidder, 69, of Livingston, Montana. The actress and activist passed away on Sunday, May 13th, 2018 at her home.
Kidder played Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve’s as Clark Kent. She also starred in the three sequels to the film, Superman II, Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
Kidder was born in Canada and made her acting debut in 1969 on the series Wojeck. She also appeared in the series McQueen, Mod Squad and Nichols.
