Oh man, this is going to be an intense finale.
Kara faces off against Non and Indigo in the final battle to determine the fate of the entire human race. Before she can get to them however, she has to go through Alex. Last episode ended with Alex showing up under Non’s mind control wearing Kryptonite armor and wielding her Kryptonite blade. From the little bit that we see in the promo, it looks like it is going to be a tough fight for Kara. Not only will she hold back because its her sister, but the amount of Kryptonite present will definitely slow her down. Luckily for Kara, it looks like J’onn survived Indigo skewering him last episode and he shows up to help Kara defeat Non and Indigo.
Maxwell and Cat are still working on their “message of hope” to send to the people of National City in order to break them out of their mind control. I wonder if perhaps they succeed in doing this during Kara and Alex’s fight. That is really the only way I can see that battle having a happy ending. Or maybe Kara is able to talk Alex out of it, but from the promo it doesn’t look like she is successful. We’ll just have to wait and see.
The season finale of Supergirl airs Monday, April 18 on CBS.
