‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Production Begins
The Stranger Things crew is back together and ready to take on the mysterious dangers that lay ahead in season 3.
On Friday, the official social media accounts for the hit Netflix series kicked off season 3 production with a video showing the show’s cast returning for their first table read. According to the video, the cast and crew began to gather on April 20th in order to prepare for the upcoming season.
“Old Friends,” (aka. returning castmembers) include Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Caleb McClaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Dacre Montgomery (Billy Hargrove), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler) and, of course, Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper).
While all of our old favorites are back, the video also highlights, “A Few Strangers,” including Maya Hawke (Robin), Jake Busey (Bruce), and Cary Elwes (Mayor Kline) who are joining the Matt and Ross Duffer (the Duffer Bros) production.
Netflix is keeping a tight lip on any details surrounding season 3, however, it’s exciting to see the cast officially back in action and working on the series’ next chapter! Check out the cool kick-off video below.
