‘Stranger Things’ Books Are Coming This Fall!

If you’re going through some Stranger Things withdrawal lately, we’ve got some great news for you! Publishing company Penguin Random House will be partnering with Netflix to develop a set of books based on the hit original series Stranger Things.

You won’t have to wait too much longer for the first two books in the series to be released. According to Deadline, the first two titles will be released this fall with one being a hardcover geared towards younger readers with the other focusing on behind-the-scenes content serving as a companion book to the Netflix series.

In addition to the first two books releasing this fall, next Spring, fans will be treated to a Stranger Things prequel novel! The prequel will be written by Gwenda Bond and will tell the story surrounding Eleven’s (played by Millie Bobby Brown on the series) mother and the MKUltra program. Author Gwenda Bond will be penning the prequel novel.

The title for the behind-the-scenes companion book has been released. The book will be titled Stranger Things: World Turned Upside Down: The Official Behind-The-Scenes Companion. The other titles in the series have not yet been shared.

The books will also be available in audio format and addition books for both children and adults will be released in 2019.

From Matt and Ross Duffer (the Duffer Bros), the Netflix series Stranger Things has already begun production on its third season. The series stars Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Caleb McClaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Dacre Montgomery (Billy Hargrove), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler), Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper). Joining the cast for season three will be Maya Hawke (Robin), Jake Busey (Bruce), and Cary Elwes (Mayor Kline).

Netflix is keeping a tight lip on any details surrounding season 3, but we can’t wait to see what they come up with!
