Stephen Amell to Compete on American Ninja Warrior
Stephen Amell announced via Facebook this afternoon that he will compete in an upcoming episode of American Ninja Warrior. He will participate in a special celebrity addition of the series alongside Derek Hough, Erika Christenson, Natalie Morales, Nikki Glaser, Mena Suvari, Nick Swisher, Jeff Dye, and Ashton Eaton. Each celebrity will be paired with a Ninja alum, who will help coach them through the numerous obstacles. Amell will be joined by Kacy Catanzaro, the first woman to make it up the iconic warped wall and the first, and only, woman to complete a City Final.
Fans have been asking Amell for some time when he would make an appearance on the show. One of Oliver Queen’s go-to training routines is the salmon ladder, which is a staple on American Ninja Warrior. The question is, will he be allowed to don the hood when he competes?
The celebrity edition of American Ninja Warrior airs Thursday, May 25 on NBC.
