Stephen Amell Confirms Wrestler Cody Rhodes To Guest Star on ‘Arrow’

Stephen Amell announced today at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in Secaucus, New Jersey, that wrestler Cody Rhodes will be guest starring on Arrow this year. Amell and Rhodes made the announcement on their panel during the convention at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. He later tweeted the announcement.

Heroes & Villains tweeted as the two made the announcement to the rowdy audience. Amell joked that Rhodes knows more about Green Arrow than he does. Last year the two fought during The two fought in the WWE SummerSlam.

“Before we get going, we have an announcement. We have a new guest star on Arrow this year: Mr. Cody Rhodes. I’m so fired up for this guy; he and I haven’t really had much of a chance to talk about it but we’ve been friends for a little over a year now. I know that Cody has really wanted to get into the acting business. He went to LA, he read for a part, and his deal closed yesterday and the dude is going to be on Arrow and I’m so fired up.”

Season five of Arrow will begin airing on October 5th, 2016. and is set to begin production next week.
