Star Wars Deletes Social Media Post Concerning The Mandalorian to Potentially Avoid a Spoiler
The usual subtlety of the marketing campaign and press tour surrounding The Mandalorian continues, as Disney+ seeks to preserve its biggest secrets until release. Unlike what occurred with Andor last year, no screeners have been sent out in advance for critics – allowing us all to enjoy this new series simultaneously!
Unfortunately, the official Star Wars Facebook page in Hong Kong might have unknowingly spoiled a pivotal moment of the show with an out-of-date post that has since been removed.
Hyping up this week’s season 3 premiere, the account shared a post that reads (translated from Chinese), “The original team is back. The Mandalorian [Din Djarin] and [Grogu] are about to embark on a new adventure! Plus the bounty hunter [Boba Fett] and other old allies and new enemies!”
It appears that Temuera Morrison will make a triumphant comeback as Boba Fett, though it should not come as any surprise.
As Din Djarin and Grogu voyage back to Tatooine, it’s likely they’ll come into contact with Mos Espa’s new leader. And Fett is sure to be amongst the ones commandeered by Mandalore as the season progresses. Although we’re uncertain of how all this will play out, Boba will surely have an integral role within this saga – a fact that has us incredibly eager!
Reports have recently emerged that the second season of The Book of Boba Fett is currently in development, and it’s likely this appearance will serve as a lead-in to its eventual launch.
As season 3 of The Mandalorian commences, our intrepid hero embarks on an exciting new voyage across the Star Wars Galaxy. After being a solitary bounty hunter for some time, Din Djarin has now been reunited with Grogu and must face both old allies and powerful adversaries as they strive to bring peace to the New Republic. Together, they will discover unforeseen dangers in their quest for a brighter future!
The Mandalorian season 3 premieres on March 1.
