Joan Lee, Wife of Marvel Legend Stan Lee, Dies at 93

We here at Fan Fest News would like to send our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences to Stan Lee, who lost his wife Joan, on Thursday. Joan was 93 years old.
A spokesperson for Lee and his family released the following statement to The Hollywood Reporter:
“I can confirm the sad news that Joan Lee passed away this morning quietly and surrounded by her family. The family asks that you please give them time to grieve and respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
According to sources, the wife of the Marvel Comics legend had been hospitalized earlier in the week after suffering a stroke.
Stan and Joan were married on December 5, 1947, and the couple had 2 children. They had been married for 69 years.
With San Diego Comic Con being just weeks away, there has been no word yet whether or not Lee will keep his scheduled appearances or cancel them. If any information is released, we will make sure to keep you posted.
