Is there anything more heartwarming and adorable than pictures and videos of cats on the internet? We didn’t think there was until the internet went all out celebrating International Cat Day this week! It was then that we discovered the definitively most heartwarming and adorable photo of all time which was posted by Marvel legend Stan Lee.
Lee has recently taken a liking to Twitter and has begun posting video messages, photos and more in order to engage with his numerous fans. On International Cat Day, he took his Twitter game to a whole new level.
Lee got in on the kitty-sharing action by posting the most epic International Cat Day photo of all time. The picture showed the Marvel master himself adorably posing with the internet-famous Tardar Sauce, who is better known as Grumpy Cat. The photo shows Lee holding the adorable feline while they are both making the signature Grump Cat scowling face. Lee captioned the photo, “So it’s #InternationalCatDay? These two are clearly stoked. (#WayBackWednesday to Comikaze 2015.)” Bonus points to Lee for also playing up the “Way Back Wednesday” hashtag as well! Check out the adorably grumpy photo below.

Grumpy Cat was born on April 2, 2012, and she’s one of the most adorable things to hit the internet since. She first became a viral internet sensation when her picture was posted on Reddit in September of 2012. When it was questioned that the original photo wasn’t real and was photoshopped to make her look grumpy, her owner responded with some YouTube videos and additional photos which went totally viral!
We simply can’t get enough of the photo of Grumpy Cat and Lee together! This just might be the best photo on the internet, ever!
