Stan Lee Pop-Up Museum Highlights A Legendary Career

It is no secret that Stan Lee is a comic industry icon. To think about all he has accomplished so far during his lifetime is quite mind boggling. Comicbook writer, editor, publisher, media producer, television host, actor, and former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, Mr. Lee’s resume is impressive to say the least. This past weekend, Awesome Con was honored to share items and collectibles from his expansive career at a Stan Lee Pop Museum located on the convention floor. Needless to say, fans flocked to catch a glimpse of the extensive display.

18 larger-than-life Marvel statues modeled after Stan Lee’s most well-known characters, including the Hulkbuster, as well as more than 50 pieces of Stan Lee memorabilia spanning seven decades of his career were presented throughout the exhibit. From figurines and artwork to movie props and awards, there was something for everyone to appreciate. It is one thing to think about all of Stan Lee’s achievements, it is quite another to see it laid out before your very eyes.

I must say I could have spent hours absorbing all the history placed before me. To see the progression of my favorite Marvel characters is something I will not soon forget. Stan Lee’s impact in the comic realm is undeniable and it was wonderful to see dedicated fans stroll through the museum with a look of awe on their face. I implore all comic fans to visit this museum.

We are fortunate indeed that Stan Lee continues to share his creativity and passion with the fans. It is my hope that this continues to be the case for a long time to come. Thank you Stan Lee!
