Stan Lee is up for a Marvel and Harry Potter Mash-Up

Stan Lee is running his own Twitter account after many years of having very little say in it, and he is making waves. Last week, he started a viral campaign to be president of the Universe, and the consensus was overwhelming!

He’s already sent shot outs to fans for their support, discussed Spider-Man (and inspired fans in the process) and discussed running for world president. He’s got many big time aspirations and we’re glad to see him share them with us.

Most recently, he sent a tweet to JK Rowling and let her know that Doctor Strange and the X-Men could definitely hold down the fort against Voldemort. They’d also make for some awesome teachers.

Both franchises are massive. As far as box office numbers go, Avengers Infinity War made $257,698,183 during its opening weekend, while the biggest Potter hit, only ten spots down, made $169,189,427.

Overall, Marvel is the bigger franchise. Half of the ten spots happen to be filled by Marvels other top moneymakers, Marvel’s The Avengers, Black Panther, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, and Iron Man 3.

While Rowling has yet to respond, we can only imagine she was as intrigued by the idea as we were. Even if nothing comes from it, the idea of Doctor Strange visiting Hogwarts would completely work!
