‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ Coming to Netflix This June
Marvel may be making its way off of Netflix in the coming months, but there’s one familiar superhero that will be making his debut on the streaming giant. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which follows a young Miles Morales, an adult Peter Parker, and many more will be web-slinging over to Netflix starting on June 26th for all of your viewing pleasures.
Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse won the Academy Award this past year for Best Animated feature after months of wowing critics and audiences alike. Many declared the film one of the best superhero movies of all time and thanks to its stunning animation and beautifully inspiring story, we have to agree.
I can finally talk about this: #SpiderVerse is hands down the best Spider-Man movie ever made, and it’s one of the best comic-book films, live action or animated, of all time. pic.twitter.com/hzO0ZCdagk

Voice starring Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney, and Mahershala Ali, Spider-Verse honed in on the notion that “anyone could wear the mask” of Spider-Man. It followed a young Brooklyn teen named Miles who becomes a Spider-Man in his own reality, before eventually crossing paths and teaming up with five counterparts from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities. The screenplay was written by The Lego Movie’s Phil Lord and Rodney Rothman and was directed by Bob Persichetti.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits Netflix on June 26th!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
