‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Release Date Moved Up

OOur neighborhood Spider-Man is swinging into theaters earlier than expected this summer. Instead of Spider-Man: Far From Home set to release in theaters on July 5th, the film is now scheduled for a July 2nd release. This is three days earlier than fans expected, but this might only excite North American fans as this news only affects those the United States and Canada. The film stands to make a killing at the box office by moving the dates up. After all, seeing a superhero film on the Fourth of July seems beyond fitting for most Americans.

Spider-Man: Far From Home also gives us hope that the ending of Infinity War will become a moot point and that Thanos did not destroy the hope for all of mankind. After all, Peter Parker seems to be whole in this upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. While I have seen all the Spider-Man films to come out since 2002, I have to admit while I once hailed Andrew Garfield’s as my favorite, Tom Holland has managed to make me think otherwise. Fans of this universe cannot get enough of our favorite web-slinger so the possibility to see the film a couple of days earlier will not hurt any fans feelings.

Although Peter Parker is expecting to take it easy and not have to deal with saving New York, he realizes that he has a much bigger mission he must take on. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter will fight to save the location where he merely wanted to vacation. After all, this version of Parker is the teenager we have all known and love for some time now, but he is still a teenager. He should be able to have fun when his school gives him the opportunity. What better place to do so than overseas? Unfortunately for him Nick Fury has other plans for him.

Alongside Fury getting to meet Peter Parker for the first time, the trailer of the film introduces the world to Quentin Beck, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, who is better known as Mysterio. Hopefully for Parker’s European vacation, these two characters can team up together to take down the creatures who plague Europe. After all, fighting crime never rests. The only time that has truly occurred was during the first end credits of The Avengers and even then we all knew another villain was lurking around the corner within the MCU.
