After fans were disappointed that the Spider-Man 3 title was not announced last night, Disney corrected it on Wednesday. They revealed the title for the next Spider-Man film, which isn’t all that surprising, to be honest. They also confirmed that the next Spider-Man film would only premiere in theatres and not on Disney Plus. We are expecting the same for Black Widow as of right now, but anything could happen up until release. There is still a pandemic going on after all. The title also has all kinds of implications for the film and fan’s minds are running wild with theories. Right, you probably want to hear the title. The spider of Spider-Man 3 is Spider-Man: No Way Home. You can actually see the reveal in the clip below!
The reveal itself is frankly pretty hilarious. It even plays off the fact that Tom Holland just loves to spoil stuff. They reference his “spoiling” of the previous films’ title, as well. Let’s talk about that title though!
No Way Home could be referring to a number of things, but I have a theory of my own. By theory of my own, I mean what the rest of the world is probably thinking too. Since we know that the next phase of the MCU will be heavily dealing with the Multiverse, well… I’m sure you see where I’m going with this. It sounds to me like Peter, and maybe his friends, will get caught in one of the many alternate universes. Maybe we had it wrong all along. Maybe instead of the other Spider-Men visiting him HE’S going to visit the other Spider-Men. Wouldn’t that be something?
How do you feel about the title Spider-Man: No Way Home? I think it’s pretty clever myself! Let us know all about it in the comments below!
