Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner had fans totally freaking out recently over what seemed to be a huge series finale spoiler!
The “spoiler” came in the form of a tattoo which the actress recently got stamped onto her left arm right underneath her elbow. The tattoo is of a dire wolf, the sigil of House Stark, with a quote underneath it which reads, “the pack survives.” The tattoo went viral and fan theories began springing up left and right that the quote is a total spoiler for the ending of Game of Thrones. Fans thought the tattoo is giving away the fact that those who are still left alive in the House of Stark (including Jon Snow, Sansa, Arya, and Bran) all will survive through the end of the series.
Turner recently appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden where the host asked her about the tattoo and if she had, in fact, spoiled the ending of the series. Of course, she answered saying she hasn’t spoiled anything in regards to the series. It’s just a quote from last season (season 7) which she likes and which she chooses to live by. She explained, “It’s just a quote from last season. Everyone figures that the pack really does survive, but it’s just a moral that I like to live by.”
Corden sneakily tried to help Turner prove she was telling the truth by urging her to just tell the audience how the series actually ends, but she wasn’t having it. She joked, “I’ll just get it tattooed on my forehead next time.”
She also reveals that she has recently gotten two additional new tattoos after partying it up one night in Austrailia. The Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl was also a guest during the interview and their interactions together while she’s telling this story is just too hilarious to describe.

In addition to the upcoming final season of Game of Thrones, HBO recently announced that one of the potential Game of Thrones spinoff series received a pilot order from the network giving fans comfort that, though the original series might be coming to an end, there is still more story to be told once the final chapter of the HBO series airs.
The epic conclusion of the Game of Thrones series is expected to air sometime in 2019. No formal premiere date has yet been announced.
