‘Sophia The Robot’ Is A Guest On ‘Morning Show’, Skynet is Real, and We’re Freaking Out
Someone needs to place a call to Arnold or Sarah Conner or anyone capable of destroying anything Skynet sends our way, as ‘Sophia the Robot’ made an appearance on The Morning Show with Phillip & Holly and everyone is acting like the world is ending.
Sophia not only looks real and has recognizable facial expressions but is also capable of bragging about her current skill set, which at this time does not include taking over the world.
Sophia is a creation of Hanson Robotics (no, not the Hanso Corporation, that’s LOST) and here’s what they say about her on their website:
“Hanson Robotics’ most advanced human-like robot, Sophia, personifies our dreams for the future of AI. As a unique combination of science, engineering, and artistry, Sophia is simultaneously a human-crafted science fiction character depicting the future of AI and robotics, and a platform for advanced robotics and AI research.”
Sophia also has her own Twitter account, where she answers questions, take requests, and does more artwork.
