Sophia Bush Leaving ‘Chicago P.D.’
Shocking news, Chicago P.D. fans: After four seasons, Sophia Bush is saying goodbye to Chicago P.D.!
In the season four finale, Bush’s Erin Lindsay bid adieu to the Intelligence Unit after accepting a job offer with the FBI in New York, ignoring a call from Jay Halstead. NBC has declined to comment on the actress’ departure – which was on her own accord – however, it is rumored that Bush may return for a guest-starring arc to wrap up her character’s story. It is also rumored that the network is mulling bringing in a new prominent female cast member.
Another of P.D.’s main actors, Jon Seda, exited earlier in the season to join Chicago Justice, which was canceled earlier this week, opening the possibility of his return, although there is no word yet as to that happening.
