Bad Blood has currently been on the air in Canada for two seasons but on December 7th, just one week after Sons’  departure, the first season will be available to binge. The series is based on a book called Business or Blood: Mafia Boss Vito Rizzuto’s Last War written by Antonio Nicaso and Peter Edwards. It follows Coates as Declan Gardiner, the right-hand man to crime family boss Vito Rizzuto (Anthony LaPaglia). When Vito is released from prison after a 31-year sentence, he seeks revenge on those who killed his family and friends while he was on the inside – starting with Declan.

The series was created and produced by Simon Barry and premiered on CityTV last September. It features a supporting cast of Paul Sorvino, Enrico Colantoni, Lisa Berry, Eric Hicks, Anna Hopkins, and Daniel Kash.

Since wrapping his role on Sons in 2014, Coates has appeared in multiple films including The Land, Strange Weather, Adventure Club, and Cold Brook. Last year he guest starred on Netflix’s Godless for five episodes as well as SYFY’s Ghost Wars.

Be sure to catch up on Sons of Anarchy before it leaves Netflix on December 1st and tune into Bad Blood when it hits Netflix on December 7th!
