If you thought your parents were the bane of your existence and total buzz kills, try swapping places with six Los Angeles teenagers whose parents are quite literally minions of evil– or should we say Jonah (Julian McMahon). Hulu’s original series Runaways returns December 21st on Hulu, and Fan Fest News has the scoop on what’s to come in the long-awaited season two of the hit Marvel series. Runaways centers around a group of teens, who despite their very different backgrounds, band together to uncover L.A.’s most dastardly secret– which is conveniently ran by their criminal parents, collectively known as the Pride.
Angel Parker, who plays Catherine Wilder, a cunning lawyer and mischievous member of the not-so-charitable organization, chatted with us about the new season, new threats, and what’s to come for not only the parents, but the runaways as well. Since we’ve been super naughty, and have already seen the first five episodes of the series (Season 2 is off to an EPIC start), it’s only fair that we tease (without spoiling) what’s on the horizon for fans of the Marvel series…

Parker said in an exclusive interview with Fan Fest that her character’s motivation has always been her family “and everything they have built.” She adds that Catherine “will not lose it. When it seems to be slipping away, her desperate grasp gets tighter… eventually around a trigger.”
Oooh, what could that mean? I guess you’ll just have to wait and see. Now that you’ve gotten a little taste of our exciting conversation with Parker, the on-screen brains and brawn of Team Wilder— check back with us on December 21 for the full feature, only on Fan Fest News.
Season 2 of Marvel’s Runaways returns 12/21, on Hulu.
