Sir Roger Moore Passes Away at 89

It was announced this morning that Sir Roger Moore, who was the third actor to play the iconic James Bond, passed away after a short battle with cancer at the age of 89. The news was shared via Twitter with the family thanking Moore for “being you, and for being so very special to so many people.”

His Bond credits include Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, and A View to Kill. Moore is also known for his role in the hit shows The Saint and The Persuaders. Outside of acting, Moore was an ambassador for UNICEF and considered his work as an ambassador his most celebrated achievement.
