At the age of 34, Branding Twigs was branded a ‘saint’ by the actor, who claimed she “saved my life” – prompting him to wake up and accept responsibility for his actions.

Shia LaBeouf spoke about being sued by an ex, without naming her directly or referring to any specific allegations, on the podcast Real Ones.

The pair dated for less than a year before calling it quits after she accused him of “unrelenting abuse” and “knowingly handing down a sexually transmitted disease.”

He candidly admitted in a new interview: ‘I hurt her. And when I did that, I also injured countless other people- prior to hurting her.’

I was a pleasure-seeking, self-centered, dishonest, inconsiderate, anxious, frightened individual in my past life… I have to be of service now that I think about what my existence has become and where it is now… This needs to be me.

As Shia explained, there are not a lot of men who are taking accountability for their actions in the #MeToo environment.

He provided a detailed account of all the people he hurt and needs to apologize too, before explaining that this is something he will have to do for the rest their lives.

During the event, he paid homage to Twigs, calling her a “saint,” while expressing his appreciation for her.

‘If she hadn’t stepped in and showed me another way to live, I would have either a very average life or be dead,’ Shia explained.

The actor, who now has a newfound purpose in life, says he is in a much better place mentally and wants to be an example for others of how to live a principled life.

With a trial for their lawsuit set for April 2023, Tahlani has previously said that her relationship with the star was “the worst thing I’ve ever been through in the whole of my life,” and that she would rather go to jail than marry him.

Among the allegations, she is accusing him of violently attacking and strangling her, knowingly infecting her with an STD, and physical and verbal violence.

Shia, who has recovered from PTSD and alcoholism, is doing better now. He’s happy and calls himself a ‘public sinner’.

Shia LaBeouf was recently interviewed on a podcast where he refutes Olivia Wilde’s claims that he was fired from her upcoming movie due to his ‘combative energy.’

The actor, instead of continuing with the project, insisted on quitting.

Backing up his allegations, a video of Wilde allegedly pleading with LaBeouf to stay with the project was leaked online on Friday, in which she states that his departure would be a “wake-up call” for Pugh’s character, Miss Flo.

After the part was ultimately recast with her now-boyfriend Harry Styles, Wilde, 38, gave an interview to Variety this week where she slammed LaBeouf’s approach as “not conducive to the ethics that I demand in my films.”

28-year-old Mimi Keegan plays the role of Jack, while Florence Pugh is the main star and had some ‘tension’ with LaBeouf.

However, LaBeouf has now presented apparent evidence that refutes Wilde’s allegations, including an email he sent to the director and a video she sent him that was subsequently leaked online, demonstrating his abandonment of the film.

According to LaBeouf, he ended his involvement with the film on August 17th due to disagreements about rehearsal time. He provided evidence of this by forwarding two emails that he sent Wilde.
