Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin Have Some Tough Luck at Sea in ‘Adrift’

The Hunger Games’ Sam Claflin and Divergent’s Shailene Woodley are teaming up for a new movie together that’s sure to put their action and survival movie experience to the ultimate test!
Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate PicturesAdrift tells the true story of a Tami and Richard, a couple who are given the opportunity to sail a yacht from Tahiti to California. Despite being over a 1000 mile trip the two are ready to seek adventure and climb aboard. The only problem is that along the way they encounter category 5 Hurricane Raymond and their romantic trip suddenly turns into a fight for their lives.
With Richard gravely injured and their location way off course, it’s up to Tami to fight for their lives and bring them to safety.
The film, which is based on the true story of Richard and Tami’s ordeal, was directed by Baltasar Kormákur and is set for a June 1 release date. Check out the full trailer below!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream.
