A Royal Wedding took place on Saturday, May 19th and it wasn’t just any Royal Wedding. American actress, Meghan Markle, became the Duchess of Sussex in a beautiful ceremony that swept 22.4 million Americans into the world of the British Royals.
The love story is one for the Royal Books. Markle, who starred on Suits on USA for 6 years, and even had her own lifestyle website called The Tig, is now trading in her scripts for a new humanitarian lifestyle alongside Prince Harry, now also known as the Duke of Sussex. The wedding took place at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
From the details of her dress, to the groom’s loving stares at her, the wedding was truly a spectacle. Guests included George and Amal Clooney, Oprah, The Beckhams and of course the Royal Family.
There were so many stand out moments, but the official portraits really say it all. Check out the photos that Kensington Palace released Monday.
