While it would be hard to sum up the entirety of the MCU in a few words, this phrase by Kevin Feige does it quite a bit of justice.
’10 years ago, Sam Jackson walked into Tony Stark’s living room and said, ‘You’re part of a bigger universe, you just don’t know it yet,’ and now here we are, 10 years later, and everybody knows it.’
Feige discussed the importance of the ‘bigger universe’ in a new featurette discussing the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. He spoke of everything from the intensity of the story, the incredible way someone like the Hulk can pop up in the middle of Spider-Man’s story, and the reason that Infinity War was shot on IMAX cameras.
‘We wanted to tell it in the biggest format possible.’
Joe and Anthony Russo also spoke of the importance of seeing the film in an IMAX theater. From everything to the scale of the film to the ability to see more of the characters, it’s necessary to check this out in a way that allows you to take in absolutely everything.
Get your tickets soon because Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27th.
